Well ive played a harp with no strings (was rather odd)
I guess my ranger can cope with an invisable bow string xDD |

I would like if that the bow stings mods like Vampiric Cold dmg earth dmg etc
Could add some texture to the bow such as a red tint for vampiric.  could look quite cool.

I'm pretty sure my Ranger ran out of arrows a long time ago, so having no string doesn't really bother me too much.

Bowstrings are either going to be:
1)flat 2d objects. In which case, it will look invisible from certain angles and look really dumb. 2) actual 3d objects. In which case, it will be at least 3 sided tubes and require rigging and animation and use up too many polygons for such a tiny detail. in other words. Its not worth it either way. |

Maybe they are supposed to be like the bow the guy in the old D&D cartoons has, they have like magic strings and arrows
